Qadri's thugs assaulted policemen, law will take its course : Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief has come to Pakistan on his own free will but will leave Pakistan after the law permits.
The information minister made the statement after visiting injured policemen at the DHQ Hospital in Rawalpindi. He said, Tahir-ul-Qadri’s thugs assaulted law enforcers and he condemns this brutality.
He termed the brutal attacks to be a new form of terrorism that Qadri has introduced in Pakistan, adding that now there are two types of terrorism in the country and both will be dealt with befittingly.

Meanwhile, Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashood while speaking to journalists outside the Punjab Assembly said assaulting law enforcers was a display of Anarchy not revolution. He added that the provincial government will not create hurdles for any lawful activity that Tahir-ul-Qadri wants to do but will not allow any illegal activities to take place.
Police Brutality
While over 70 policemen were injured in clashes with PAT workers on Monday, exactly one week ago on Tuesday the 17th eight people including women lost their lives when Punjab Police carried out a crackdown against the Minhaj-ul-Quran International secretariat in Model Town, Lahore.

Another 80 people were injured including women, children, old men as well as policemen
